Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood

The church is located on the Canal Griboyedova and River Moyka. The church was open in 1907, but closed in the 1930's under Stalin's rule. During WWII, it was badly damaged and was to be demolished. In 1968, a petition was won to protect the church and restoration began in 1980 and completed in 1997.
