Rostal Columns

To the far left, you can see a red column. This is one of two Rostal Columns, which originally served as lighthouses. The ships' prows that are featured on the columns represent the Viking ships conquered by the Russian Fleets. Althought this photo does not show the column upclose, I chose it to show what the city looks like along the waterside.
