German sweets

These cookies replace the oh-so-popular Funnel Cakes of the US. They are like a gingerbread cookie with a hard sugar decor. They come with colorful ribbons, so that one can wear them as a necklace while enjoying the Fest. These heart cookies all say 'ich liebe dich' which means 'i love you'.
