Hohenschwangau Castle

...is the castle in which King Ludwig II grew up. It was constructed by 12th century knights. King Ludwig II's father purchased the castle ruins in 1832 and had it restored. "Hohenschwangau" translates to Swan Knight....just in case you were curious.
