Only in the Franken region of Germany will one find the 'bocksbeutel' wines. The meaning of the word is 'goats bladder', which is reminiscent of the shape of...yes...a goats bladder. Back in the old days, they'd carry wine in the bladder of a goat...today....it's glass. Thank goodness for progressions.
