Cemetery

The French used many Moroccan soldiers during the war. Naturally, many of these men died in the fight. They have been properly laid to rest with their fellow Frenchman, but rather than crosses, they have the Muslim headstone. All of these headstones face towards mecca and if you look closely, you can see they are angled differently than the crosses in the background, for this very reason.
