Our friends Hamza, Meyrem and their son Jonas treated us to the most wonderful visit of Marrakech during our short time here.  Meyrem is a doctor in the new city side of Marrakech and Hamza recently left his job at a university to build houses. He is just finishing up a house for his mother and is it ever gorgeous! Four stories, each bedroom has a balcony, two kitchens and incredibly high ceilings.

Hamza is planning on building several more homes quite similar to that of his Mother's...so if anyone is interested, you can contact me via email and I'll forward his contact information on to you.  Marrakech is a lovely place to have a second home (or even an only home!!) and Hamza's beautiful work with homes would make your stay even more enjoyable. Plus, they are the nicest people you could meet.
