Definitely, definitely, definitely, if you are visiting the south part of Germany and needing a hotel, you simply must stay at Hotel zum Tuerken.  Frau Scharfenberg is the owner a looks a bit like Queen Elizabeth (but prettier, should I dare say). This hotel was her grandfather's and has an amazing, somewhat sad history!  www.hotel-zum-tuerken.com  The hotel also offers access to the Nazi bunkers, which are located directly under the hotel.
