COLOGNE, GERMANY
SEPTEMBER 2006

Cologne, or Koln, is Germany's fourth largest city chock full of Roman remains, a handful of worth-visiting museums and streets upon streets of amazing shopping ranging from the likes of a discount mart to Versace.   During World War II, 95% of Cologne was destroyed. The city rebuilt itself and today is visited by over six million tourists each year.  A lovely city definitely worth a visit. We asked a friend of our last year (born and raised here in Germany) what city he favored in Germany....he answered Cologne.
