Rhodes was built during 408 BC, and was considered a modern city. Today, ancient ruins are nestled amidst  modern day tourist shops and cafes.  Blooming bougenvilla and hibiscus drip down from the towns walled fortress.  The water is clear, refreshing and inviting.  Every corner of Rhodes is intoxicating.
