POCITELJ, BOSNIA-HERZEGOVINA
AUGUST 2008
Pocitelj is a small village near the city of Mostar, with a really cool Ottoman vibe to it. This was my favorite sight visited in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Not many people know of it, despite it being a UNESCO heritage site. Artists gather here to paint the landscape, few tourists roam the streets taking in the charm of this village and several locals stand nearby selling freshly picked cherries, apricots, grapes and figs. YUM!
