VILNIUS
SEPTEMBER 2008

Vilnius.  So impressive in its beauty that UNESCO declared it Europe's largest Baroque Old Town.   600,000 call Vilnius home and I'm surprised its not more. This city has everything to offer.  Chic shops, high end restaurants, cool bars, jawdropping architecture, an excellent University and even a KGB museum.

It doesn't take long to walk around Vilnius before taking note that there is just something different here. Its hip and its classic, its beautiful and its gritty, its charming and its ecclectic, its religious and pagan, its young and its old. Its one big juxtaposition.  And that is what makes Vilnius so intoxicating...that its so full of contrast. As with most European cities, everything you need is concentrated within one area, making sites easy to reach.
