Unfortunately, there isn't much I can write about Zagreb. Both me and Jameson fell ill with a stomach virus a few hours after our arrival and continued to be sick through our drive home to Italy. Bummer.  I know enough about the city to know that I definitely want to return and thankfully, its only a 4-hour drive, so the likelihood of us returning is high. 

In the few hours of 'feeling fine', I did get to take a few photos of our hotel (interior and exterior) and perhaps one can get a vague idea of the surroundings. *sigh*  Our hotel, for reference sake, was the Regent Esplanade and was nothing short of glorious.  The hotel, the staff, the restaurants....all top notch.  Next time!
